MaxtorFusion-box.jpgSeagate has launched a Network-attached storage device which lets users share their personal content with friends and family. The system is offered along with a Web application, to make it easier to "organize, retrieve, access, blend and assemble" multimedia content for sharing personal experiences, events and memories – privately or publicly, securely, with others.

The system is priced at $799 and is available at J&R Music and Computer World’s New York City store and its online store. If you are not interested to buy the Maxtor Fusion system, there is an another option, Instead of using the physical box, multimedia content is uploaded to a secure online site, providing users similar options to store, access, share and organize personal content. Online service will be free for a specified time, with an option to renew to a yearly subscription.
